HOW IT ALL BEGAN
The Gronska Strejla Moto Club was created in the spring of 1999. Its main purpose was to connect the motorcycle owners of Goričko in Prekmurje to socialize and get acquainted, with the wish to go riding together, to exchange different experiences (travel, driving, acquaintances etc.) and skills (mechanics, buying/selling etc.) in the motorcycle world. At the same time, we wanted to promote and expose the region of Goričko with Prekmurje to the wider Slovenia and the surrounding countries through our moto labels.
As the first moto club in Goričko, we were always looking forward to socializing with the locals, introducing them the world of motorcycling and making respectable contacts. They are our pride, and we are theirs.
We are joined by the love of motorbikes, true friendship, selfless help to members or others, and spending time together and creating unforgettable moments.

ABOUT THE CLUB
MORE THAN 20 YEARS OF STORIES AND MEMORIES
The first meeting and conversation of the founding members took place in May 1999 on the terrace and parking lot of the Pindža Inn in Gornji Petrovci, followed by a Founding Assembly of 17 members in the Bencik Inn in June, also in Gornji Petrovci (three founding members are still active in the club).
The first president of the Gronska Strejla moto club was Bogomir Breskoč.
A few more meetings followed, regarding the club’s sign and name. Motorcyclists in Prekmurje became interested in our club and membership.
This was followed by the design of the sign, the name, preparing the documentation for the club’s statute and the application of the association at state offices. In the fall of 1999, the moto club officially became a legal entity.
At the beginning, the club members persistently appeared at various moto events, made new acquaintances and promoted our club as well as Goričko.
In 2001, the club got a new president, Dušana Kuronja, and at the same time it was facing a major challenge – the first Gronska Strejla Moto Meeting. From 2001 to 2013, almost legendary moto events took place at the football field in Križevci in Prekmurje.

Eventually, the Gronska Strejla Moto Club became a serious organization that is why the next goal was to set up its own premises – a Clubhouse. With the help of donations, savings and self-sacrifice of members, an abandoned firehouse was transformed and later on a shop in Budinci into an enviable house with all the necessary infrastructure and large surroundings.
Over the years, members have been persistently working on the moto scene both at home and abroad, and at the same time new members are joining us because of our recognisability.
